CHS embraces a holistic approach to the life-long health and wellness of women. Our Women’s Health Department provides a wider range of services than any other health center in the state. We emphasize preventive care, and all of our services are provided whether or not you have insurance. We even have special programs for free breast and pelvic exams for women who qualify. Our doctors are linked with Hartford Hospital and manage deliveries and complete follow-up on newborns. We have taken measures to reduce premature births by ensuring that high-risk patients, especially pregnant teens, receive special attention by our doctors.

Services available through CHS’ Women’s Health program are: Gynecological (GYN) exams / Pap smears; Gynecological surgery; Colposcopies; Cervical Cancer Screening; Family Planning; Pregnancy Testing; Full Prenatal and Post-partum obstetrical care including deliveries; Ultrasounds; 24 hour coverage; STD testing; Diagnostic Testing; Walk-in Services; Nutrition Counseling.
