Community Health Services, Inc. is searching for a detail-oriented, self-starting individual for the Billing Specialist opportunity!


Come join a fun team with a supportive and high-energy culture with professionals passionate about revenue cycle management! The Billing Specialist generates revenue by making paying arrangements, collecting accounts, monitoring and pursing delinquent accounts.

The successful candidate will:

  • 1-2 years’ experience of patient services and billing/coding experience in a healthcare setting. 

  • One year is continuing education or equivalent experience in medical billing and coding, to include CPT and ICD10, HCPCS coding, Medicare, Medicaid and other government programs.

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding and reimbursement practices.  

  • Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) and ability to navigate an Electronic Health Record.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of databases and medical software.

  •  Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures and specific to claim to process.

  •  Knowledge of governmental, legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities.

  • Certified Professional Coder or Certified Coding Specialist

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
