Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced, professional Medical Receptionist for a full time opportunity in our Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine Department. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Receptionist is the face of our department and provides excellent customer service while managing phone calls, schedules appointments, checking in patients in our busy practice and ensuring patient information is accurate in the electronic health record system.
The Clinical Director of the department is Dr. Zeev Harel, former Brown University Medical School Professor of Pediatrics. Levels of employees’ engagement and satisfaction in this department are above national average.
The successful candidate will:

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited medical assisting or other clinical training program such as a nursing program

National medical assisting certification from a qualifying certifying body (AAMA, NHA, NCCT, or AMT)

CPR certification at the healthcare provider level or eligible to obtain certification within 90 days of hire

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are strongly preferred.
