Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced full time Infectious Disease Program manager to manage the operations of the infectious disease program, including ensuring compliance with the Ryan White and other grant requirements. Ensure timely and accurate program reporting to governmental agencies. Manage the delivery of services for patients infected with, or at risk of becoming infected with other communicable diseases, including programs addressing Hepatitis B and C and PrEP. Oversee infectious disease quality improvement initiatives in accordance with grant requirements.
The successful candidate will:

Provide direct leadership to the Ryan White and infectious disease program, including recruitment, orientation, professional development, evaluation, and quality oversight

Support the professional development of Ryan White and infectious disease staff and maintenance of clinical competencies by identifying training needs and promoting ongoing education opportunities

Develop clear lines of communication with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies, including, responding to requests for information, providing and receiving updates to and from grant project officers, submitting periodic time and effort, financial, and quality reports in a timely manner, and taking a lead role in programmatic audits and site visits

Maintain deep knowledge of, and ensure organizational practices are consistent with. regulatory requirements as they relate to federal, state, and local grant programs, including Ryan White

Participate in quality and process improvement efforts in the department and the organization as requested or as directed

Complete training and professional development requirements in a timely manner

Oversee the planning and implementation of infectious disease-related educational and community outreach programs

Develop and monitor interdepartmental referral and care management systems to ensure the identification and treatment of individuals infected with, or at risk of becoming infected with communicable diseases across the organization

Develop, track, and evaluate program performance against grant program budget by monitoring program income, expenses, and expenditures

Collect, review, and analyze data on patient utilization, demographics, and risk factors to identify and recommend opportunities to grow and/or improve the infectious disease clinical service line

Bachelor’s degree in a medical field (nursing, pre-medicine), public health, social work or related human services field

Be willing to perform other duties as assigned
Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are preferred.
