Alyah Velez, LMSW

Alyah Velez is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Connecticut State University and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Saint Joseph. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively support and connect with a diverse range of clients. Alyah is passionate about providing holistic and client-centered care, supporting individuals as they navigate challenges related to mental health, trauma, and life transitions. She incorporates a range of evidence-based modalities in her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Perspective, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT Play Therapy. Alyah is excited to foster a safe, empowering space for her clients to explore their strengths, build resilience, and achieve their goals.
